One of Europe's top 10 innovation houses, the Danish Technological Institute, is establishing an office at HCA Airport to get even closer to the development of tomorrow's drone technologies.
The Danish Technological Institute has recently opened a new office in HCA Airports Business Park. This is done with a clear goal of strengthening Danish drone innovation and especially bridging the gap between civilian technologies and defence needs.
Sum en of the two partnere i Defence Tech Denmark the institute is a key player in supporting Danish companies that want to deliver solutions to the defence industry.
Based at HCA Airport, the Danish Technological Institute now has direct access to Denmark's leading drone hub with the Danish Defence National Drone Centre and the network of companies and test facilities that drive development, coming now in direct contact with en of Europe's leading RTO'er (Research and Technology Organisation).
Easier testing and validation of new technologies
Through the new office, the Danish Technological Institute will e.g:
- Paving the way for testing and validation of new drone solutions
- Helping businesses with c-labelling and legislation
- Strengthen collaboration with actors such as UAS Denmark Test Centre and SDU
The Danish Technological Institute's move is also part of a larger movement in our Business Park, where we have just completed a four-hectare expansion. With this, we can meet the growing demand from companies that want to be part of an ecosystem at the intersection of traditional aviation, drones and research.
