See the veteran aircraft dance in the skies over Odense on 19-22 August

Funen residents can get their inner aerobatic geek out when the Vintage Aerobatic World Championships are held at HCA Airport from Thursday to Sunday this week - where around 15 classic vintage aircraft will compete to show off their best tricks in the air.

There will be the best opportunities to experience the planes on Friday and Saturday. Flights will normally be between 10am and 5pm, but this will depend on the weather. Wind, clouds, etc. may push the schedule.

In addition to the participating pilots, a number of veteran aircraft owners will be stopping by the airport to watch the action first hand. The exciting Occupation Museum will be open and a number of activities will be taking place.

There will be an opportunity to see the aircraft from the area around HCA AIrport and admission is free for all without the need to register. The flights will be accompanied by a number of activities on the ground. Food and drink will be available at the airport café, which will be open throughout the weekend.
